Valeene Salanga is Senior Research Associate of the Institute for Leadership, Empowerment, and Democracy, Inc. She earned her degree of Bachelor of Arts in International Studies Major in International Politics from Miriam College. She is currently taking up her master’s degree in international studies in the same institution. Her research interests include international relations, peace and security studies, geopolitics, and diplomacy.
